lil friends creator tool — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lil Friends, LLC ("we," "us," "our" — the data controller, where laws use that term) collects when you use the creator tool at https://create.lilfriends.app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. If you have questions, contact hello@lilfriends.app.
The creator tool is a separate service from the lil friends mobile app. If you also use the app, the lil friends Privacy Policy covers that separately — using the creator tool does not create an app account, and an app account does not give you access to this tool.
Summary
- We do not keep your photos or the images you generate. They pass through our servers, are sent to our AI image-generation provider, and are returned to your browser. Nothing is written to storage on our side. Closing the tab is enough to lose them, so download anything you want to keep.
- We keep your email address, so you can sign in again, and a count of how many images you generated each day. That is the whole record.
- The daily counts are deleted after 90 days. Your sign-in stays until you ask us to remove it — email us and we will.
- Your photo and the scene text are checked by a content-moderation service before an image is generated.
- We do not sell personal information and the tool shows no ads.
1. Information we collect
- Your email address. You sign in with a code sent to your email. We receive the address you signed in with.
- The photo you upload. Resized and re-encoded in your browser before it is sent, which removes camera metadata such as location (EXIF/GPS).
- The scene you pick, and any text you type for a custom scene.
- A daily generation count, so we can apply the daily limit described in the Creator Tool Terms and notice a compromised or misused sign-in.
- Server logs, kept briefly for security and debugging.
We do not ask for your name, and the tool has no profile, no payment details, and no account beyond the email you sign in with.
2. How we use it
- To generate the image you asked for.
- To apply the daily limit, and to see whether an account is being misused.
- To keep the tool secure and working, and to contact you if there is a problem with your use of it.
3. What we keep, and for how long

Residual copies may persist briefly in logs and backups before rotating out.
4. Who we share it with
- Our AI image-generation provider, a US-based service, receives your photo and the scene prompt in order to generate the image, and receives your photo and scene text for content moderation. We do not use your photos, prompts, or generated images to train AI models, and our provider's API terms state that content submitted through its API is not used to train its models. The provider may keep API content briefly for abuse monitoring under its own policies.
- Supabase, our database and authentication provider (US), which handles your sign-in and stores your email address and daily generation counts.
- Resend, our email provider (US), which delivers your sign-in code and therefore processes your email address.
- Cloudflare, which serves the tool and therefore processes your connection details.
- Law enforcement or others, only where we are legally required to, or to address abuse.
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
5. Content review
Before an image is generated, the photo you upload and any scene text you type are checked automatically by our provider's content-moderation service. If the check flags them, the request is refused and no image is generated. This is an automated check, not a person reading your prompts.
We do not review generated images as a matter of course, because we do not keep them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Since the only record we hold is your email address and your daily counts, a deletion request is straightforward — email hello@lilfriends.app from the address you signed in with and we will remove both. Your daily counts are deleted automatically after 90 days in any case; the sign-in itself stays until you ask.
You can stop using the tool at any time. Your sign-in is not an app account and gives you nothing in the lil friends app.
7. International transfers
We operate in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States. If you use the tool from outside the US, your information is transferred there.
8. Children
The creator tool is for participants in our creator campaigns and is not directed to children. Do not use it if you are under 18.
9. Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email at the address you signed in with.
